To link to an existing artist profile in the SOOLY Music distribution panel, you need the Spotify URI and Apple Music Artist ID. These IDs ensure new releases merge with your existing catalog.

Finding Spotify Artist URI

  1. Open your artist profile on Spotify
  2. Share > Copy artist link
  3. URL format: open.spotify.com/artist/ARTIST_ID
  4. Artist ID is the 22-character alphanumeric code in the URL

Alternatively, copy the URI from Profile > Artist info in Spotify for Artists.

Finding Apple Music Artist ID

  1. Open your artist page on Apple Music or iTunes
  2. Note the numeric ID in the URL: music.apple.com/.../artist/.../ID
  3. Also accessible from Apple Music for Artists (artists.apple.com)

Using in SOOLY Music Panel

Check "Existing Artist Profile" in the distribution panel and enter the relevant IDs. Wrong IDs cause your release to link to the wrong profile; verify carefully.
