Audio files uploaded to the SOOLY Music distribution panel must meet specific technical standards for seamless delivery to all DSP platforms. Wrong format or low quality can cause moderation rejection or platform delivery delays.
Supported Format and Quality

MP3, FLAC, or AAC files are not accepted directly; export your master as WAV. 24-bit/48kHz hi-res masters are accepted; platforms typically convert to 16-bit/44.1kHz during distribution.
Silence and Start Rules
Tracks should not contain long silence at the beginning or end. DSP platforms, especially Spotify, may reject or auto-trim files with more than 1 second of silence at the start. Check fade-in/fade-out durations during mastering.
Minimum Length
- Single track: at least 60 seconds
- EP and album tracks: at least 30 seconds (except short interludes)
- Spotify algorithm does not count streams under 30 seconds as full streams
Tips
