When moving your catalog from another distributor to SOOLY Music, you can preserve stream history and playlist positions by keeping your existing ISRC and UPC codes.

Transfer Steps

  1. Export ISRC and UPC list of your current catalog
  2. Remove releases from old distributor (takedown)
  3. Upload in SOOLY Music panel with "Existing Release" option
  4. Enter the same ISRC and UPC codes
  5. Transfer completes on platforms within 2-4 weeks

Important Rules

  • Do not publish simultaneously on two distributors with same ISRC
  • Removal from platforms after takedown may take 1-2 weeks
  • Spotify stream counts are usually preserved
  • Playlist positions may need to rebuild after transfer
